Hello Tillicum Tiger Families!

I hope you and your family have enjoyed a restful summer filled with fun, happiness, and time together. We are excited to welcome our Tillicum Tigers back and begin the 2026–27 school year! We look forward to partnering with you and your student to make this a year filled with learning, growth, connection, and success.

Connection Conferences

As a reminder, Tillicum will once again host Connection Conferences before the start of the school year. These conferences provide an important opportunity for students, families, and teachers to connect, build relationships, share important information, and help every student start the year feeling welcomed and ready for success.

Important Dates

• August 31st: Back to School BBQ- Free Hotdogs and Chips, Meet your new Teacher
• September 2 & 3: No school for all Tillicum students due to Connection Conferences.
• September 4: No school for kindergarten students to accommodate WaKIDS Conferences.
• September 4: First day of school for students in grades 1–5.
• September 8: First day of school for kindergarten students.

Students should attend their Connection Conference or WaKIDS Conference with their family. Our goal is to connect with 100% of Tillicum families before students begin school. These conversations are an important first step in strengthening the partnership between home and school and ensuring that every Tiger gets off to a great start.
