Dear Tillicum Tiger Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We hope you have enjoyed a wonderful summer filled with rest, fun, and time with loved ones. We are so excited to welcome our students and families back into the building and to begin another year of learning, growing, and connecting together.

This year, we are kicking off the school year with Connection Conferences on Wednesday, August 27 and Thursday, August 28. Students will not attend school these days as our staff will be meeting with every family.  These meetings are a chance for you and your child to meet with your teacher before the first day of school. It’s a time to build relationships, share important information, and set a positive tone for the year. Someone from our staff will be reaching out to you soon to schedule a time that works best for your family. We hope every family will take part in this valuable opportunity.

Our academic focus this year continues to center around reading and math. Whether your child is learning to read or reading to learn, we are committed to supporting their growth. You will hear more throughout the year about how we are strengthening literacy and math skills, and how you can help at home.
