As we move into the heart of the school year, I want to thank you for your continued support and partnership. The next few months bring exciting learning opportunities, family engagement events, and time to pause and celebrate the season together.

Important Dates

November

• November 11 - Veterans Day (No School)
  We honor and thank all who have served.
• November 19-21 - Parent-Teacher Conferences (Early Dismissal Days)
  Conferences are a great time to connect about your child’s growth and celebrate progress.
• November 27-28 - Thanksgiving Break
  Enjoy time with family and friends – we’re grateful for our entire Tiger community!

December

• December 22 - January 3 - Winter Holiday Break
  No school during this time. Classes resume Monday, January 6.

January

• A new year brings new goals, learning adventures, and opportunities to grow together!

Reading at Home

Did you know that just 15 minutes of reading each day makes a huge difference in your child’s success?
Take a few moments each evening to read together or listen as your child reads to you.

Try these simple daily questions to spark meaningful conversation:

• What did you learn today?
• What was your favorite part of your day?
• Can you show me something new you worked on?

Your curiosity and encouragement show your child that learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends.

As we approach the holiday season, I’m reminded how special our school community is. Thank you for your kindness, your involvement, and the many ways you support Tillicum students every day.
