Principal Jason Hill

Hello Tiger Families,

It’s hard to believe we are already more than halfway through the school year! Our students have demonstrated tremendous growth in reading and math, and we are eager to see their progress reflected in the next round of STAR assessments in the coming weeks.

At our school, we continue to emphasize three key expectations each day: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible. These principles are essential for student success, both academically and socially. We encourage you to reinforce these values at home by discussing them with your child.

One great way to support your child’s learning is by asking them each day, “What did you learn at school today?” Engaging in these conversations shows your child that you value their education, which in turn fosters their own enthusiasm for learning.

Additionally, daily reading at home is a powerful way to support literacy development. Please check in with your child to ensure they have a book to read and set aside 10 to 15 minutes each evening for independent or shared reading. This small habit can have a big impact on their growth as readers!

Finally, parent conferences are just around the corner on March 12, 13, and 14. Our teachers have been reaching out to schedule conference times, and if you have not yet secured a spot, please call the school we would love to assist you in setting up a time.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in your child’s education. Together, we can ensure a successful and rewarding school year!
